Others have said it better and will continue to do so…

This is a quiet farewell from your friends at Darkplanetonline. For seven years we explored the unknown, plumbed the undercurrent of alternative thinking and wept openly at the repeated stupidity of mankind (well, those who supposedly represent us anyway).

On a long enough curve, life will grab you by the throat and force you to see what is important. Screaming out into the void is starting to hurt our lungs and our voicebox is oh so sore. This place had its time and maybe it will again someday but for now Darkplanet must fade back into the digital noise.
